I recently had the time and extra cash to see a movie alone. I usually dedicate this time for movies I would rather not openly admit I enjoy. This time around I decided to instead of filling my brain with normal chick flick garbage, I would actually get a positive message. Finding Joe was not an amazing movie, but the message and personal stories made you kinda fuzzy. The funny thing about movies and TV is that we are constantly being fed messages. I like to tell everyone I meet that you have a choice in everything you do, nobody can change the way you feel or see things but you. When we watch movies and TV we choose the messages and perspective we want to “try on” for the time we sit and absorb. Be responsible for what you watch and read. Check in after and let the things you don’t need fall away.
