Hi, My name is Marci and I’m a recovering people pleaser.
I spent the first 26 years of my life making sure everyone around me was happy. I became exceptionally intuitive to other peoples needs. So much so that I had no clue mine existed.
From the time I can remember I felt things that I had no words for and noticed stuff that nobody else around me seemed concerned with. I was extremely sensitive and highly intuitive, yet had no clue. I was always consumed by music, theatre and books. These became my safe places, my home. The marvelous places to connect to magic and wonder at a moments notice.
By the time I was 23 my body stopped letting me absorb anymore of people’s “stuff” I had no choice but to face this part of me. I would be in the middle of working on someones hair and feel this surge of panic. My body became an unrecognizable place for me to be. MY OWN BODY!!!!!! This was so scary and confusing to me. When I searched for answers I was given medication and when I searched for support there was none.
I needed to understand what was going on and why. Again no answers. The Journey I went on was a long and painful journey. That being said, I know it is my path and my life’s purpose to understand myself in a profound way.
From 23-33 I uncovered a formula that created the clarity to manifest a life full of authentic courage, clarity to express my needs, and the confidence to show up fully.
As I fully accepted this and truly shifted into this space I noticed people showing up to learn. I knew it was time to share my story and support those ready to discover their Personal Power and live in the full expression of their spirit.
Here is a little about my studies
- 2006 I was attuned to be a Reiki Practitioner. This modality of healing really supported me in shifting from carrying burdens to releasing and freeing myself from pain. I now happily show up for those ready to let their healing take place.
- 2007 I studied at the Foundation For Spiritual Development. This is where I learned a practical way to create healthy energetic boundaries that take the guess-work out of dealing with my sensitivity. I am super passionate about tools and I teach some of them in my program.
- 2011 I become a certified life coach through the Baraka Institute. This is where I uncovered my unusually strong intuitive connection. This course helped me understand the innate wisdom I already had access to. The coaching tools that I found to be super useful and supportive is how I created the discoverME program.
- 2014-2015 I studied with Gabrielle Bernstein. Gabby really supported me in coming out of the healing closet. Her work has inspired me to step up as a teacher. I am grateful for the community and support I now have after becoming Spirit Junkie Level 1-2 trained.
- 2014-2015 I became a facilitator for The Desire Map Workshop. This is a great compliment to the dicoverME program.
